What is Pride Month?
Every year, the month of June is dedicated to Pride and celebrating the LGBTQ+ community. It marks the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, the groundbreaking protest for LGBTQ+ rights that took place in New York in the late 1960s.

There are many different ways to support and elevate the queer community during this month—you can buy from LGBTQ+ brands, support nonprofits and local organizations with your time or money, raise awareness of queer issues, and attend Pride events, which happen all over the world during the month of June and beyond.
But if you’re hosting your own Pride party, or you just want to extend support, love, and celebration to your food choices, here are 13 vegan recipes inspired by Pride’s rainbow flag to help you get in the spirit throughout the month.
